Governor of Niger state Alhaji Abubakar Sani-Bello says Nigeria’s economic woes won’t go away except President Muhammadu Buhari gets a second term in office.
The governor gave the warning yesterday when he played host to indigenes of Kontagora town in his residence yesterday in Minna, the Niger state capital.
According to him, solving the economic challenges currently facing the nation will be a huge challenge if he does not contest or get a second term in office.
“The support declared by the All Progressives Congress (APC) governors was to ensure continuity and sustainability of Buhari’s good work in Nigeria.
“If President Muhammadu Buhari does not contest in 2019, there will be problem in solving the enormous challenges facing the country because he is truthful, fair and just in administering the country.
“Nigeria would continue to become a greater nation under President Buhari’s administration,” he added.
