Report: Graham Potter ‘Understands’ Fan Frustrations

Unrest has been steadily growing within the Chelsea fanbase of late, something that has not been lost on manager Graham Potter. According to Nizaar Kinsella, the Englishman is willing to admit that the fans currently have every right to be ‘upset and angry’.

He also knows he ‘does not have much credit left in the bank’ following the disappointing loss to Tottenham, during which they frankly did not look like scoring at any point in the match

Despite this widely-reported growing unrest, Kinsella and other reputable reporters still state that owner Todd Boehly will continue to back Potter, though it is unclear how much longer of a leash he has, as things are threatening to seriously spiral out of control.

Boehly was at the match over the weekend and spent time with Potter and the team following the match. He has his finger on the pulse of the squad and it is believed both Potter’s personality and the unity between him and the ownership is helping hold the dressing room together.

These next few weeks could prove to be a make-or-break time for Potter if he wishes to continue at Stamford Bridge.
