Jumoke Akindele Ajulo, a former speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, gave birth to her first child at the age of 54.

The state’s first female Speaker in history is Ajulo.

Although close friends claimed she gave birth on Saturday, further information was scant at the time of publication.

Akindele represented Okitipupa constituency 1 and was elected Speaker between May 2014 and March 2017.
