Ogenyi Onazi, a midfielder for the Super Eagles, believes Victor Osimhen should be named Serie A’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) for his outstanding play for Napoli.

Osimhen has racked up 21 goals in 25 appearances for Napoli, spurring his team on to pursue their first Italian league championship in 33 years since the illustrious Diego Maradona left the team.

Speaking to the Italian news outlet Tuttomercatoweb, Onazi said: “He [Osimhen] deserves MVP for what he’s done in Serie A and also for what he’s done this season in the Champions League. I have no doubts.

“Victor Osimhen continues to grow and will do even better.
