His Excellency the Executive Governor of Yobe state, Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON, has approved the Appointment of seven Senior Special Assistants, following the dissolution of the State Executive Council.

They include:

1. Dr. Muhammad Sani, SSA on Education
2. Dr. Garba Iliya SSA on Humanitarian Affairs
3. Barr. Saleh Samanja SSA on Legal Matters
4. Gen. Abdulsalam
   Dahiru SSA on Security
5. Dr. Mohammed Lawan Gana SSA on Health
6. Aji Yerima Bularafa SSA on Political Affairs
7. Abdullahi Bego SSA on Wealth Creation.

The appointment of the Senior Special Assistants became necessary to avoid creating a vacuum in view of the strategic position of their respective offices.
