On Wednesday, Chelsea announced that defender Levi Colwill had agreed to a new six-year deal.
Through a statement posted on their website, The Blues announced this.
There is also a one-year extension option in Colwill’s contract.
Before Chelsea’s friendly against Dortmund, Colwill was mentioned by head coach Mauricio Pochettino, who stated, “[I am] so happy to have him in the squad and have the possibility to work together.”
Throughout Chelsea’s preseason campaign under Pochettino, Colwill has made appearances.
With the new season approaching, the 20-year-old has now decided to stay longer at Stamford Bridge.
