Nigeria’s attempt to share hosting duties for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations with the Benin Republic has failed.

This comes after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) chose to grant Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania the rights.

Morocco will host the 2025 edition, CAF has also announced.
