The winner of the ninth season of Nigeria Idol is Chima Udoye, also referred to as “Chima.”

Late on Sunday night, the management of the talent hunt show made the announcement in a post on their official X page, which was originally Twitter.

Nigerian Idol, who called Chima a “bright future filled with music,” said that tonight was his dream come true

“And the winner of #NigerianIdol season 9 is… CHIMA! ??. Chima’s dreams just came true tonight! 

“Congratulations and here’s to a bright future filled with music”, the talent hunt show added.

Webteam@ipledge2nigeria could recall that the trio of Chima, Lammy, and Chioma made it to the top three last Sunday after Mira Clear was sent packing from the show.

The tension was high as each contestant was joined by a family member on stage, with Chima and Lammy receiving the most votes, securing their spots in the finals.
