The proposed nationwide ban on the operations of Okada by the Federal Government has generated mixed reactions.

We spoke with Nigerians on the streets and found that while they were not fully opposed to the idea, they demand that the FG provides alternative means of employment for those affected.

Others believed that this is an attempt to make life less easier for citizens as well as bikers. Some believed that respective measures should be in place in order to ensure safety of passengers and riders rather than the  total elimination of the vehicles, this for sure is a source of livelihood for close to 20% of Nigerian population and no replacement is provided to help them sustain life

Nigerians are not taking this lightly as getting to a destination would be very difficult especially within neighboring streets and environment, some urge that the government provide safety measures rather than discarding them completely.
