Trai Byers and Grace Byers are best known for their movie roles in the popular movie series, Empire, as Andre Lyon and Anika Calhoun respectively, married for six years now.

They met on the set of Empire in 2015 and got engaged that same year during fall. They got married in Grand Cayman Island where grace grew up on April 14, 2016.

The Empire actress has made it known to the public via a very cute post on Instagram that they are expecting their first child together. This post was made on Friday, October 14, as they posed on the red carpet in a picture on the opening night of Trai’s Broadway show called The Piano Lesson.

The first slide of photo shows Grace holding her baby bump wearing a coral halter-neck gown, while the second slide of photo, we have both parents cradling the baby bump.

‘Happy Opening Night on your Broadway Debut, my beloved King,” she wrote. “Words absolutely fail when it comes to describing how deeply and overwhelmingly proud we are of you, @traibyers. What a night!’

The couple are yet to reveal the gender and due date of their baby. The celebration was for two, not just the baby but also Trai’s Broadway Debut in the remake of the August Wilson play The Piano Lesson.
