French footballer and Real Madrid’s captain, Karim Benzema, has won the Ballon d’Or for the first time in his career.

 

The 34-year-old bagged the award on Monday night, October 17, in Paris, France. 

He was accompanied by his current girlfriend Jordan Ozuna, and his ex-wife Cora Gauthier, who were his special guests at the event. 

The star athlete is currently dating US model Jordan, who has previously dated musos P Diddy and Justin Bieber.

“Proud is an understatement”, the woman shared on her Instagram Stories alongside pics of Benzema and the Ballon d’Or award.

Cora – who accompanied her son Ibrahim, whom she shares with Benzema – also showed her support to her ex. “We are so proud of you”, she shared alongside a pic of the star player on her IG Story.
