Afrobeat singer and YBNL newcomer, Asake has dropped another banger that has left fans swooning. His new single ‘Joha’ cements his affiliations with indigenous African music.

Joha” is a record off Asake’s new album “Mr Money With The Vibe”, the first debut album after the scintillating “Olalade Asake” EP.

Asake released his debut studio album “Mr Money With The Vibe” in 2022 and received great airplay on all streaming platforms.

Mr Money With The Vibe is a curated body of work album which is highly expected; it features vocals from Nigerian and Grammy award-winning singer Burna Boy and American rapper and singer Russell James Vitale, known as Russ.

Self-acclaimed African giant and Grammy award winner, Burnaboy outshines himself on this sound. With the body-moving chorus, Burnaboy fans will surely be serenaded with this song’s success.

 ” It’s plenty” is one song for a party hangout or just for a cruise, and its Yoruba fusion of ‘shale’ and popular slang ‘trabaye‘ is a seamless combination of lyrics with finesse.

A single like no other, Certified Loner follows Mayorkun’s smash hit sophomore album, Back in Office released in 2021 and reached no #1.

Holy Father, a single of the album garnered over 40 million streams across digital platforms, also surpassing the radio charts for 5 weeks consecutively and having spent 13 weeks on the UK Afrobeats chart. 

The amapiano-inspired track launched on social app TikTok with a teaser sound has left fans hooked. It currently trends at over 300k creations.

10. Buga –Kizz Daniel ft Tekno

Produced by Reward Beatz and co-produced by Blaise Beatz, Young Willis, and Micky Geetarist, Kizz Daniel’s song ‘Buga’ has become the song of the moment with trends on Tiktok at 2.4m, and on social media as a challenge.

No doubt Kizz Daniel has a great reputation for dishing spicy viral hits since he entered the music scene.

Kizz Daniel’s masterpiece, Buga, has also entered the lead song on Apple Music’s top 100 in Nigeria and top one among the top 100 on Apple in Kenya.

13. Finesse — Pheelz feat BNXN

The year sure started on a good note with this buzzing single from Pheelz-one of Nigeria’s leading producers.

With Buju’s sleek input on the new music, it didn’t take long for it to become the hottest song out in Nigeria so far.
