The Acting  State Chairman of the Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sooko Taju Lawal, has commended all the members of the party who attended the State High Court, Okefia, Osogbo, the venue of the ongoing governorship election petition tribunal in the state yesterday.

It was observed that the ecstatic members of the APC turned out in a large number at the resumption of the tribunal session in Osogbo yesterday.

According to the Acting State Chairman of the party in a statement issued by the State Media Director(SMD)of the APC, Chief Kola Olabisi, the way and manner that the members of the party conducted themselves both inside and outside the tribunal was a source of pride to the leadership of the party in the state.

Lawal assured the APC members that he was cocksure that God would answer their collective supplications soonest on the outcome of the governorship election petition tribunal as the ongoing legal battle  has the backing of God Almighty who would not, for any reason, abandon His own.

He stated that he has confidence in the tribunal that justice would not only be served, but it would also be seen to be served with reference to the divine entreaty of the APC members at the tribunal.

Lawal enjoined the APC members who are regular visitors to the tribunal to always remember to relay the report of the tribunal to all other members and supporters of the APC in their various constituencies.

The Acting State Chairman stated that he was fascinated by the APC members’ exhibition of  discipline and decorum through their actions and inactions as good ambassadors of the party.

He also enjoined the APC members to always be attentive with a view to learning some lessons of life during the sessions of the tribunal.

Lawal urged the APC members irrespective of their religious persuasion to  always remember former Governor Oyetola and the APC in their prayers as all things need prayers.

He also appealled to the members of the APC to work against the discouragement and extinction of factions in their various constituencies in the overall interest of the party especially during the next general elections.

Lawal pleaded with the APC members to always prioritize the attendance at the tribunal assuring them that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
