João Félix has become Chelsea‘s new player on loan until the end of the season after extending his contract with Atletico Madrid until 2027.

“Chelsea is one of the great teams in the world and I hope to help the team reach their objectives – I’m very, very happy to be here and very excited to play at Stamford Bridge,” Felix said on the move.

Manager Graham Potter said: “He’s a quality player. He can make a difference in the final third. He is young but has a lot of really good experience. He’s a quality player that brings everyone a lift.”

The 23-year-old would hope to continue his amazing stats of the season having bagged four goals and three assists in 14 matches for the Laliga giants Atletico Madrid.
