2023 Elections: Ganduje Impressed With INEC’s Preparedness

Kano Governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has cast his vote at his ward in Dawakin Tofa local government area.

Ganduje, who cast his vote at about 10:15 am said he was impressed with the Independent National Electoral Commission’s preparedness for the elections.

He commended the deployment of technology to prevent rigging, adding that so far, everything was going on fine.

“Security agencies are doing their best, even the voters are here and they are orderly.

So I think virtually there is no complaint except the process is a bit slow, but I believe the speed will increase later.

“So everything is going in order.

“I’m happy to see everything is in order.”

Also on his part, Kano Deputy Governor and APC gubernatorial candidate, Dr Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna said he was impressed with the conduct of the masses.

He said the people have proved maturity and that they are peaceful.

Gawuna called on people to continue exercising their rights within the limit of the law.
