Nigeria National League (NNL) has summoned head coach of Mighty Jets Aminu Musa and the management team of Edel FC for questioning.

Musa is summoned for his utterances during an interview he granted after his team’s 0-2 loss to EFCC in the final group match played at the Area Playground, Garki Abuja.

Aminu was quoted as casting aspersion on the Nigeria Football system, the Nigeria Referees Association (NRA) and the Nigeria National League, saying they schemed to have his side eliminated as Group A1 representative in the forthcoming Super Eight playoffs.

The General Manager of Edel FC, Olise Onuchukwu, the club secretary and the Anambra FA secretary are also to appear before the NNL Compliant Unit to answer to the assault meted on match officials at the Awka City Stadium in Anambra after the final Group B3 tie with Giant Brillars of Enugu.

Gory pictures and videos trended on social media, showing the extent of beating the referees received in the match that ended 0-1 in favour of Giant Brillars.

All invited person(s) are to sit with the Compliant Unit Thursday, June 15, at 10 in the morning.
