The names were read out on the Senate floor during plenary on Thursday by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

David Umahi of Ebonyi State, Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State, Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, and others who served as governors recently made the cut.

Webteam@ipledge2nigeria, however, observed that some states failed to make the list of ministerial nominees.
