A new contract between Victor Osimhen and Napoil is about to be agreed upon.
Both parties are reportedly working on the contract’s final elements, according to Sky Sport Italia.
Osimhen will agree to a new, two-year deal that will keep him employed by the Partenopei till 2027.
There will also be a release clause included to the new deal for a sum close to €150 million.
Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis reportedly wanted to insert €200m release clause in the contract but seems to have bowed to pressure from Osimhen’s camp to lower it.
The Nigeria international was a subject of interest from Manchester United, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich this summer.
The 24-year-old was the top scorer in Serie A last season with 26 goals from 32 games.
