Makinde names board chairmen, DGs, and other assistants in Oyo

The Oyo State Agency for People Living with Disabilities has named Barrister Ayodele Adekanmbi as Director-General, according to Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State.

On Wednesday, Makinde disclosed this information.

The Governor also disclosed Mr. Olajide Boladuro’s appointment as Director-General of the Oyo State Gaming Board.

Makinde, according to a letter by his Chief of Staff, Segun Ogunwuyi, noted that all the appointments are with immediate effect.

The Governor also appointed Bishop David Moradeyo as the chairman of Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare Board (Christian Wing), while Sheikh Hashim Olamide Wahab Atere has been appointed as the chairman of the Muslim Wing of the Board.

He added that Rev. Femi Ibikunle has been appointed as Special Assistant (Inter-Faith Affairs), Mr. Timothy Olufemi Sunday has been appointed as Executive Assistant (Disabilities Matters) while Alhaji AbdulRasheed Adewale has been appointed as Special Assistant (Islamic Affairs).

Others according to the letter included Mr Lanre Dairo- Special Assistant (Housing & Urban Development), Hon. Olaniyan Babatunde David- Executive Chairman, Shooting Stars, Mr Ayoola Olowosoke- Chairman, Agency for Adult and Non-formal Education (AANFE) and Sheikh Akeugberu Taofeeq Akewugbagold- Chairman, Agric Credit Corporation.

The rest according to the letter included: Engr. Ojekunle Ezekiel- Chairman, Rural Electrification Board, Mrs Adedotun Bolanle Olaitan- Chairperson, Broadcasting Service of Oyo State (BCOS) and Mr Tolu Kuku- Senior Special Assistant (Domestic).

Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sulaimon Olanrewaju in the statement said on  Wednesday evening, that the governor, charged the appointees to see their appointments as a call to greater service.

He also enjoined them to discharge their duties with optimum dedication to the State.
