Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy has paid tribute to his late friend and rapper, Sidhu Moose.

The rapper shared a photo of him rocking a pendant that bears the face of the Punjabi rapper who died in 2022.

The Punjabi rapper, who is credited with popularising rap in rural areas, was shot dead on 29 May when his car was ambushed by unidentified gunmen.

In addition to working together in the entertainment sector, Burna Boy and Sidhu Moose Wala had a strong connection.

Burna Boy also honored the late rapper and Virgil Abloh, the late American fashion designer and entrepreneur, in his popular song “Big 7.”

The self-described African Giant collaborated with Indian vocalist Steel Banglez on Sidhu’s posthumous song, “Mera Na.”

Burna Boy, who was previously known for wearing a pendant depicting the face of Jesus, has lately switched to one that depicts Sidhu in honor of the memories they shared.

Three further suspects have been taken into custody by the Delhi Police in India’s capital city in relation to the 24 times shot singer’s death.
