Ayo Makun, best known by his stage name AY, has apologized to musician Davido for making a “insensitive” joke about him.

In a recent performance at a concert in Warri, AY made Davido the focus of his joke by making fun of Davido’s numerous baby mamas.

He claimed that the musician has a “small penis,” which he uses to father children with various women.

Then AY claimed to have a “big dick,” but only fathered two kids with long gaps between their deliveries. He was perplexed as to how Davido, who had a little penis, could have had so many children.

AY came under fire from Davido’s supporters for making such intimate comments about Davido and his family, with many saying it was inappropriate.

On Sunday, October 8, AY posted on Instagram that Davido had every right to be unhappy with him and that he was sorry.

“I am so sorry for telling that joke the way it came out in Warri. I shouldn’t even call it a joke anymore. It wasn’t funny like it was during my tour of the US and Canada, and you have every right to be angry after seeing how the blogs used it.

Please know that it is always a learning experience for all of us in the entertainment business. I deserve any backlash or negative thoughts coming my way for the joke that was badly delivered in Warri. So, no excuses at all, my Aburo. No reason am. I remain your number one fan, and I love you, @davido”.

Davido, in the comment section, wrote:  “Nothing spoil baba mi.”
