Following the announcement that  President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Fela Durotoye as a Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Values and Social Justice on Monday nigerians who feel disappointed have called for the head of Fela Durotoye.

Many of them took to their verified social media handle to share their displeasure while some simply called for his head.

According to Samuel Ajayi who shared via his X handle, “I still maintain this All these new positions they are creating left and right amount to a waste of the taxpayer’s money

Positions are being duplicated, and many of them will end up being propaganda machines. And a position like this, I can’t imagine someone like Fela Durotoye

Expressing his displeasure

Oladeyforyou, wrote via his X handle, “Fela Durotoye has given you the confirmation that it’s not all the youths that contest want that position. They only want to be noticed and bag a position.

“In 2014, I rather wasted my vote on @feladurotoye instead of Buhari or Atiku. I just lost my respect for the same man who criticised APC evil.

Writing on the development, X user via this verified handle @Oluwambe Godday wrote: “Very shameful a whole presidential candidate now Media assistance to his running mate. Shame is one major character lacking in our country.”

Still expecting Fela Durotoye to reject the appointment X user @Bro privilege Esq wrote: “I am certain that a nationalist, integrity filled  Pastor @feladurotoye  will never accept such a demeaning and tar rubbing appointment ment even if the spell of d bat catches him am sure a   praying wife like @taradurotoye will call him back to his senses.”
