This week, Jada Pinkett Smith has been promoting her memoir Worthy and talking about a variety of topics, including her marriage to an Oscar winner and her sexuality with her soulmate.

She hasn’t stopped yet, either. When talking to People about her “soul mate,” Tupac Shakur, she revealed yet another shocking revelation when she said the late All Eyez on Me rapper had baldness.

She spoke to the disease she herself had, alopecia, saying, “I don’t think Tupac ever talked about the alopecia that he had.”

Skakur claimed that her hair loss problems started in 1991, following Smith’s detention by Oakland police for jaywalking. Smith revealed that she and Smith had been apart for seven years.

After he was in Northern California with the cops who beat him up, he started losing his hair. And his alopecia patterns were far more extreme than mine,” recalls the host of The Red Table Talk (52).

Shakur later sued the Oakland Police Department and settled the case.

Smith also said the California hitmaker kept his condition a secret due to social pressure.

“I don’t think Pac ever talked about his alopecia, but he also looked really good with a bald head.” But that was at a time and during an era where you wouldn’t — he just didn’t want to talk about it.’

The Girls Trip star met the rapper – who was murdered in 1996 – at Baltimore High School for the Arts when they were both teenagers.

“I’m sure if (Shakur) were alive today, he would speak out publicly about his condition,” she continued.

In 2018, the Collateral actress revealed her own experience with baldness.

We’ll have the chance to discuss about how my alopecia impacts me, she added, adding that she was delighted she got the chance.

“And I just hope that it gives people the freedom to talk about it, not feel ashamed about it, and not have that stigma.” Additionally, alopecia is shrouded in a lot of shame.

The Nutty Professor actress discussed her bond with Tupac in an interview with Rolling Out, referring to him as her “soulmate.”

‘If there is such a thing as past lives, I definitely think that Pac and I have traveled a few together,’ she said.

Old friends:

However, she clarified that they weren’t romantically involved because they had ‘no chemistry.’

‘It’s that friendship love chemistry,’ she said. ‘It was almost like God made us that way. It was like, look, I’m going to put y’all together, right? Y’all are going to be a dynamic duo.

‘But I’m going to tell you right now, I’m going to make it so y’all are not going to be able to get together ’cause that just wasn’t the purpose.’
