Reno Omokri, a former presidential adviser, has attacked Labour Party, LP members and supporters on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) in response to a recent proposal by Nigerian lawmakers to buy new cars for each congressman.

Unverified claims state that each of the new cars will cost N130 million. Nigerians are outraged about this because they think it is foolish for the politicians to spend so much money at a time when the economy is struggling.

Reno questioned whether any Labour Party legislators had objected to the new vehicle in a post. Many people think that Labour party members care about people and would not buy the new car.
