The Lagos State Government continued to clean up the Blue Line/BRT Corridor on the Lagos Badagry Expressway on Monday, October 23. The Senior Special Advisor to the Governor on New Media, Jubril Gawat, provided this information in a post on X.

According to Jubril Gawat, Assistant Commissioner of Police Bayo Suleiman’s special unit is in charge of the cleanup effort. “The cleaning operations cover the whole Blue Line/BRT Corridor, starting from the Lagos Badagry Expressway and going all the way to Iyana Iba and other areas of the path,” he wrote in his description.

 

He went on to emphasize that the state government has undertaken extensive sensitization and awareness efforts, including radio jingles and engagement with stakeholders. Furthermore, Gawat noted that the operation is now advancing toward Alaba Rago and its neighboring areas.
