Israeli Overnight Airstrikes In Gaza Leave Dozens Killed

Palestinian medical sources and media outlets have confirmed that Israeli airstrikes have caused multiple casualties in Gaza.

At least 15 people tragically died as a result of these strikes overnight in the southern Gazan city of Khan Younis.

 

This disturbing information was sent to Al Jazeera in the early hours of Friday by a medical source.

Additionally, among the victims of these pre-dawn strikes were journalist Yasser Abu Namous and his mother, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

 

Disturbingly, the casualties extended to various areas, leaving at least 30 people dead in the wake of these attacks.

Among the reported incidents, a four-story house in the al-Zaytoun neighbourhood was targeted, resulting in the death of 10 individuals. Additionally, the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza witnessed eight more casualties due to the air raids.

 

Meanwhile, in Rafah, 12 people, including a child, lost their lives in another Israeli strike.

 

The ongoing conflict has had a devastating impact on the Gaza Strip, with more than 7,000 Palestinians losing their lives, including nearly 3,000 children, since the initiation of Israel’s war on Hamas.
