Lagos Fashion Week 2023 was given a special touch by the attendance of Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

October 26–28 was the actual runway show, when the newest collections from regional designers were displayed.

 

Governor Sanwo-Olu closed the Emmy Kasbit show by joining models on the runway during the event.

He walked the runway alongside a group of black models, leaving a memorable impression on the audience.

Photographs from the event captured the governor blowing a kiss to the crowd from the stage.

The participation of such a prominent figure added a touch of uniqueness and excitement to the fashion week.
