Lagos-Ibadan-Expressway Accident Claims One Life

One person was killed in an automobile accident on Friday that happened along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC)’s Ogun Sector Command provided information that the accident happened as a result of a commercial bus colliding with a truck.

The incident happened at around 6 p.m., according to Florence Okpe, the FRSC spokesman in Ogun. It happened after Danco Filling Station.

“While one person died in the crash, two others were rescued with no injuries.

“While speeding, the Mazda commercial bus registered as LEM56XB collided with the vehicle.

“Dangerous driving and speeding are the suspected causes of the crash,” Okpe revealed.

The body was placed at the Idera morgue in Sagamu, Ogun State, she continued.
