The previously approximate N70,000 in fees was recently increased to N180,000 for returning students and N240,000 for new admissions.

However, the University Senate, at its 142nd regular meeting, reduced the new fees, perhaps to consider the agitation of the protesting students.

The Registrar, Dapo Oke, confirmed the approved fees.

“Returning students studying education courses are to pay N148,500, while their counterparts listed as pure courses will pay a sum of N158,500 as tuition.

“Similarly, new students in education are billed N170,500 and their other colleagues are to pay N180,500.”

Meanwhile, the senate of the university had approved the commencement of the 2023/2024 Academic Session on Monday, November 13, 2023.

Parents, guardians, students and the public were asked to take note of the approved academic calendar and school fees for the new academic session.
