Germany falls 2-3 to Turkiye in International Friendly

Germany hosted Turkiye, a humble team, in an international friendly on Saturday night, and lost 2-3.

Even with Germany’s home advantage and the presence of elite players like Kai Havertz, Antonio Rudiger, and Leroy Sane, Turkiye would rally to defeat the European heavyweights in the match.

Kai Havertz was on hand to open the scoring for Germany as early as in the 5th minute to make it 1-0 courtesy of an assist from Leroy Sane.

But Turkiye responded with a goal from Ferdi Kadioglu in the 38th minute to make it 1-1 in the contest.

It soon became 1-2 to Turkiye as Kenan Yildiz scored at the stroke of halftime to give his side the lead. The goal came in the 47th minute.

After the restart, Germany forward Niklas Fullkrug equalized to make it 2-2 for his side in the 49th minute.

However, Turkiye wasn’t yet done as they had one moment to deal with Germany thus producing a soccer punch in the 71st minute thanks to a goal from Yusuf Sari who sealed a surprising 2-3 win over Julian Nagelsmann’s Germans side in the epic contest.
