In the South American World Cup qualifying match, Uruguay defeats Bolivia 3-0 at home thanks to goals by Darwin Nunez, a top player for Liverpool.
In the fifteenth minute of the match, the Liverpool player did not take long to give his team the lead, 1-0.
And with Federico Valverde of Real Madrid and Rodrigo Bentancur of Juventus in midfield, Uruguay would have quality on their side and double the lead to make it 2-0.
This time it was an own goal, as Gabriel Villamil of Bolivia scored in the 39th minute of play.
Due to pressure from Uruguay, Gabriel Villamil was booked in the 59th minute during the halftime.
Ramiro Vaca followed suit 5 minutes later as he was also booked ,the second yellow card for Bolivia.
However, Darwin Nunez would complete his brace in the 71st minute with the third goal of the match for his side Uruguay.
His goal sealed the win while it would be some kind of warning to Manchester City who would be squaring up against Liverpool aftermath of the International break.
