The Federal Government’s bid to prolong the validity of the redesigned N200, N500, and N1000 notes from President Muhammadu Buhari’s previous government has been granted by the Supreme Court.

In its Wednesday morning ruling, the apex court ordered that the old notes continue to be recognized as legal tender until the required infrastructure is established for their replacement.
