Nigeria’s former Big Brother Naija champion, Josephine Otabor, widely known as Phyna, faces police scrutiny following allegations of failing to return a rented wig within the agreed-upon timeframe.

 

 

The controversy erupted when a hair vendor accused Phyna of withholding the “rented” wig past the rental period. Initially refuting the claims, Phyna confessed to renting the wig in a recent social media video. She stated that after the vendor’s public outcry, she attempted to return the wig, but the vendor refused to accept it. Phyna claimed she decided to retain the wig due to what she perceived as damages inflicted by the hair vendor, surpassing the wig’s worth.
