Wolves handed Chelsea a 2-1 defeat at the Molineux Stadium as hostility ensued in the Premier League on Christmas Eve.
Both sides made a couple of attempts to find the breakthrough goal in the contest, but it wasn’t to be as if finished goalless at the break.
However, Mario Lemina opened the scoring in the 51st minute to make it 1-0 for the home side. He was assisted by Pablo Sarabia.
But it took a 90+3 minutes goal from Matt Doherty to make it 2-0 thus sealing the win in the match.
So Chelsea would get a goal from Christopher Nkunku in the 90+6 minutes but it proved only to be a consolatory goal as Chelsea failed to secure even a single point in the contest.
English winger Raheem Sterling assisted Christopher Nkunku as Chelsea lost 2-1 to Wolves.
