2024 Grammys: Burna Boy joins lineup of performers


Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Burna Boy has been added to the list of stars billed to perform in the 66th annual Grammy Awards.



Burna’s involvement was revealed by the Recording Academy in an announcement on Sunday and comes days after it was revealed that artistes like Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo would entertain music fans at the 2024 Grammy Awards.




The self-proclaimed African Giant also took to his official Instagram account to share the exciting news, teasing fans and followers what to expect from his performance.



This year’s ceremony is scheduled to begin at 8 pm EST on February 4, 2024, air on CBS and stream live and on-demand on Paramount+, as reported by Variety.


Burna Boy has been nominated for 10 Grammys and clinched the award in 2021 in the Best Global Music Album category for the critically acclaimed ‘Twice As Tall’.


He is nominated in four categories this year; Best Global Music Album and Best Global Music Performance, Best Melodic Rap Performance and Best African Music Performance.
