Afrobeat superstar, Davido in an interview with the Recording Academy, discussed his thoughts on receiving multiple nominations for the prestigious Grammy Awards. During the interview, he spoke about his latest album, “Timeless,” and how it was a project that was very personal to him.

 

Davido spent a considerable amount of time working on the album and was heavily involved in every aspect of the production process, working closely with sound engineers and producers to ensure that every detail was perfect.

Davido’s latest album, “Timeless,” earned him three Grammy nominations, including Best Global Album. He was also nominated for Best African Performance for his song “Unavailable” and Best Global Music Performance for his song “Feel.”

 

Davido was particularly excited about the Best African Performance category, as he believes it was long overdue and is thrilled to see himself and his colleagues recognized. He was nominated alongside Ayra Starr, Burnaboy, Asake, and Olamide.
