Colombian singer, Shakira has teamed with American rapper, Cardi B, for her upcoming single titled ‘Puntería’.

 

The Colombian superstar revealed the collaboration with chart-topping Cardi B on her Instagram page. ‘Puntería’ translates as ‘aim’ in English language.

 

Fans of Shakira and Cardi B are eagerly awaiting “Puntería,” not just because of their highly anticipated duet but also because of the song’s suspected lyrical substance. There are several theories that the song makes references to Shakira’s ex-partner, father of her children and football legend, Gerard Piqué.

 

The single will feature as one of the songs off Shakira’s 12th studio album, ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’, which translates to ‘Women No Longer Cry’. The album release is scheduled for March 22, 2024.

 

There is also a music video in the works for the single, as Shakira has shared some behind the scenes footage from the video-shoot.
