American rapper and three-time Grammy Award winner, Chance The Rapper has announced his split from his wife, Kirsten Corley, after five years of marriage.

 

The soon-to-be ex-couple both shared the news on their individual Instagram stories on April 3, 2024.

 

Their statement read, “After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways. God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together”.

 

“We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together”, they continued.

 

They also requested privacy in this difficult time to enable them to navigate their new reality.

 

 

Chance The Rapper and Kirsten Corley began dating in 2013, and welcomed their first child, a daughter, Kensli, in 2015.

 

An alleged dispute related to child support payments was reported between the couple in 2017. However, Chance shut the reports down saying, “Y’all better do y’all jobs and stop worrying about how good my family is. Just a friendly reminder. Don’t let anybody get between you and your family.”

 

They settled the dispute out of court on March 21, 2017, and got married on March 9, 2019, after five years of dating.
