Nigerian singer, Olawale Oloforo, popularly known as Brymo is not waiting for anyone to give him his flowers, he is taking them unapologetically! Oh and Singers Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Davido also got caught in the crossfire.

 

The ‘Ara’ crooner sat with Nigerian content creator, Bae U on his show, ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’, and made his stance on different issues known.

 

I am probably the finest vocalist in the continent, I am the better songwriter, who else is better than me?”, Brymo asked. The host went ahead to ask the singer if he thinks he is too proud; a question the singer replied with “I think I’m not proud enough”.

 

When asked if he would mind getting signed under a music label owned by either Wizkid, Davido, or Burna Boy, Brymo replied “Don’t worry, I’ll just go to h£ll”.

 

There is no love lost between Brymo and Burna Boy. Their issues could be traced back to September 2023, when Brymo openly called Burna Boy “fake” and “very unoriginal”. He also accused Burna Boy of song theft. He claimed that Burna’s hit songs like ‘City Boys’ and ‘I Told Them’ were samples of his(Brymo) songs.

 

Burna Boy did not take the allegations lightly. He responded to Brymo by shading him during a freestyle session where one of his lines was “Hustle hard make you no go fall off like Brymo”.

Brymo is no stranger to controversy. He has received heavy media criticism for his choice of song titles, personal opinions, album titles, etc.

 

We understand why Brymo would come for Burna Boy, seeing as they are not huge fans of each other.

 

However, we are wondering how Wizkid and Davido got caught in the crossfire *inserts confused emoji*
